The Process:

1) Consultation or Initial exam:

X-rays and exam are done in the office for possible candidate for implant treatment.

2)Time of surgery

Implant and bone graft* are surgically placed. Typically ranges from 30 mins. to 1 hour in same office.

After surgery patients are given medication and post operative instructions.

3)The Wait:     4-6 months later

Doctor check if the implant is ready to be crowned.  If ready, impression of implant abutement, top portion, is taken for final crown restoration.

4) The Seat:    About 2 weeks later 

Crown is delivered and cemented to the implant.                              

                                     *Crowns are typically porcelain fused to metal
