Before After Implants & Crowns

Patient shows up with a partial denture that replaces mostly front teeth and some posterior teeth. Patient wishes to have implant done and get rid of the partial denture. Doctor implanted four implants waited four months for healing and osteointegration. (bone fuses or attaches to implant surface). A porcelain fused to metal crowns or bridge are then used to restore esthetics and occlussion.

Severe Ridge Resorption Fixed Bridge with pink porcelain
Patient has lost some front teeth for a long period of time. Over the years, lack of teeth with roots, the upper front ridge has severe resorption. The implants are placed securely in bone for osteointegration for 4 or more months. The fixed bridge or prothesis is then fabricated and cemented. The bridge has pink porcelain used to build out the resorbed ridge to make the teeth looks more esthetically pleasing. If the pink porcelain is not used, then the teeth will look big and not esthetic. Semiliar to a partial denture, except made out of porcelain which looks better, and that it is fixed vs. removable.
Twenty-one years old with genetically two missing adult canine teeth. After braces treatment, available spaces were available for two implants in the area of missing canines. After 4 months, two porcelain crowns cemented on the implants. Proper oral hygeine from the patient, the implants should last a lifetime.

Full Upper and Lower Implants & Crowns
Patient presents only a few remaining teeth, mostly advanced decay and perio. Some teeth were salvable, but most were extracted. Patient wishes not to have removable appliance, such as a partial or a full denture. Patient request for more of a definitive and longer lasting restorations. Doctor recommends to do some implants and crown.

#10 implant Final Crown

In ideal situation, adequate and good quality bone, a patient can replace their missing teeth in 2 weeks. Superior designed implants used here provides superior stability for bone integration, and immediate crowns can be placed in as little as two weeks. Front missing lateral is ideal for this type of treatment.
Full Upper and lower Implants

Male Patient shows up at consultation with advanced perio and a few teeth barely holding lower upper partial and lower partials in placed. Advanced gum diseased and very mobile teeth were extracted bone grafted, eventually controlled. Implants were placed 6 on upper and 6 on lower. Four to six months were allowed for bone intergration to implant, then bridges and crowns were fabricated and cemented.

Patient complains of moving denture appliance and did not like to take it in and out every day. Patient wants to do implants, or wants a fixed appliance. Patient recieved five implants, shown on the left, which were placed strategically where bone is most adequate or available. The right side shown are the final crowns and bridges after 3-4 months of healing. This treatment offers this patient more of a definitive restoration.
Missing Two Front Crowns & Implants

Patient shows up with missing two front teeth, and wearing a flipper, or removable appliance. Doctor places two implants and two crowns. Gingival recontoured or shaped for better esthetics.
Missing Two Front Teeth Crowns & Implants

For esthetic reasons and adequate bone support, it's best for the doctor to bone graft the site immediately after extraction. Bone graft material is placed in order to prevent drastic bone lost, thus prevents recession of papilla and gums. By doing this step of bone grafting, the doctor is better able to place implants at a quicker rate with more predictability of success. Extracting periodontally involved teeth and replaced it with bone grafting material, the body is better able to get rid of infectious state that progresses bone lost in the jaw bone. The best treatment and most effecient way to implant success and treatment would be bone grafting immediately after extraction of infectious or periodontally involved teeth. This fact is also applied to posterior teeth of the mouth.
Before After

Four Implants placed and bone graft, after extraction of advanced periodontally involved teeth. Patient wore partials temporaries for 3-6 months after initial extractions for osteointegration. Impression is then taken for crowns. After 2-3 weeks, final restorations of crowns are cemented. Additional crowns and veneers were added for better esthetics.

Final Implants and Crowns
Patient shows up with two missing front teeth. Patient have been wearing flipper type, or removable appliance. Patient complains about wearing the flipper and stability of removable appliance for years. Immediate Implant placement of missing front teeth, #7 & #8. Patient has lost teeth for some years, but bone and ridge is adequate for immediate implant. Temporaries were fabricated immediately after implants were placed. Stability of implants is then tested after three weeks, before final crowns are cemented in placed. Some anterior teeth, depending on health of bone, and quality of the patient's bone, immediate implant placement and loading or crowns can be done. Even teeth that lost their spacing and occlusion can be fabricated with proper curve and contour to look very natural.
Four Lowers and One Upper Crowns and Implants

Patient shows up with upper partial or flipper removable appliance. Partient also had a lower remove partial that replaces the lower front teeth. Patient wanted implant and a longer lasting restoration that is a better for eating or mastication. Patient recieved one implant for #9 or upper right front teeth. The lower front teeth were also replaced with four implants. Implants not only are functionally and esthetically better, but better able to maintain bone height and contour.
Implant placed after bridge removed Individual Crowns and implant placed

Patient shows with existing bridge from # 8 - #10, with missing #9, ( three front teeth bridge and missing left front teeth). Patient wishes to have individual crowns on each and replace missing front tooth with implant restoration. Since the tooth has been missing for a while, there is a some bone lost causing the ridge or gum line to receed compare to the two adjacent teeth. To correct this cosmetically, the doctor had the crown made with pink porcelain, mimic gingival tissue, in order for the shape and size appearance to be more uniform or correct.
White Fillings
Abfractions-Fracturing of Enamel Composites-White Fillings

The dental term is called, "Abfractions," which essentially means fracturing of enamel due to brusim or lateral forces placed on the teeth. Patients knowingly or not, most of the time at night, clinches. This back and forth clincing causes the teeth break apart at the gum lines which is thinest part of enamel on the tooth. This is where the teeth are most vulneralble and sentitive. After sometimes, the teeth start to break off even more, and become more sentitive. To correct or eleveate the problem, a simple white filling or composites can be placed on the facial surface of each tooth. If done properly, these fillings can be made to flex with the tooth and help keep the tooth from further breakage and sentivity. White fillings are made to match very well and relatively inexpensive. This can be done in a single or multiple visits.

Sometimes teeth that are broken down to the gum lines can be saved through a simple means of root canal therapy, cast post and crowns. The more root to teeth ratio increases the longevity of the patient's dentition. By restoring teeth to it's natural shape and size increases the patient's parafunctional habits and oral hygeine. The more proper the teeth are restored to it's proper form and occlusion increases's patient oral hygein habits, and thus increases the life span of the dentition.
Before After

Patient that has grossly decayed teeth and gum inflamation can sometimes be corrected through simple means of crowns and bridges. If left untreated gum diseases can progress and cause other systemic diseases such as coronary heart diseases, and other bacterial infections. While restoring the teeth, patient can choose to increase or lighten the shade color compare to their natural teeth.

Not only esthetics can be greatly enhanced, but self esteem. Patient with extremely poor occlusion, causes a poor initial digestion of food intake. With better or enhanced occlusion, chewing capacity of a patient can help better their diet intake. Instead of mostly swallowing their food most of the time, they can better break down their dietary intake for proper nutrition.
